Why I love this town - car repair edition
I'm getting my wheels balanced and decide to go stand outside, have a smoke, see what's up.
Up the hill, the Catholic school is letting out, kids in the play ground, kids walking home. A fight breaks out! The little kid attacks the big kid, big kid picks up little kid and throws him to the ground. Little kid jumps up, attacks, gets thrown to the ground. Repeat, repeat, repeat. Done. It was hilarious.
Small groups (cliques?) of Mexican girls are walking by. All are wearing backpacks, most are on cell phones, they all look dressed like typical teeny-boppers who buy their clothes at Target. Check.
I see a store across the street called La Festival, the rest of the sign is in Spanish but is too small to read. Next to that sign is another sign in Hebrew with a large gold menorah pictured. On the window sill is a large, real gold menorah. OK, it's a Jewish Mexican something. Ah, a small sign under the window obscured by a bush. Internet Cafe. It's a Mexican Jewish Internet Cafe. Or is it a Jewish Mexican Internet Cafe?
But what's with the mannequins in the window? Squinting, I see they're wearing bikinis. And on one wall it looks like they are have DVDs.
How convenient! One stop shopping. A Jewish Mexican Internet Cafe, DVD Rental and Bikini Store. Why didn't I think of that?

True "multiculturism" at its finest. Truely, no bigotry here. Love it.
