GBR-III Saturday 101108 - Range Day

Although literally freezing out we all braved the weather and had a great time. My high-tech-fu has failed me and I can't get pictures out of the camera (yet).

I fired my War Two Enfield No.4 for the first time today. That was really a hoot. Everything pretty much work correctly but it needs to be zeroed right. Too much gunny fun around to seriously get into that today though.

I did take a turn on DirtCrashr's AR-15 and Linoge's Springfield SOCOM .308, both very nice rifles, very enjoyable to shoot. I really need more 21st century weaponry, me thinks.

More on all of this later.

Sounds like a blast. Hopefully I can go next year. I used up my gunny time on the NRA convention and the ole lady forbid me any more until her house is done.

Oh well, those honey do's are worth it. Hope to see you next time.

Eh, to be fair, the basics of both of our rifles were designed back in the 20th century... ;)

Linoge - true, but your holographic site is just awesome, an the weapon is very light, plus it's in the manly .308 (20th century) caliber!
