Tyrany of good intentions - no smoking anywhere
City Council forbids smoking on sidewalks, streets, other public places.
If they can dictate that, what exactly is beyond their authority? In Belmont, Ca., you can be ordered not to smoke in your own home. Now Hayward, Ca. is taking it to the streets. It seems more and more, everything is becoming a crime.
