Biker's counter protest
Eagles Up! staged a counter protest in Berkeley yesterday. It's interesting how quite groups like Code Pink get when someone stands up to them. Everything was cordial though.

The Berkeley City Council today felt the wrath of a Marine and the hundreds that followed him into the streets to demand Respect for our Military. Let's make no mistake about it-- todays' operation was concieved by, paid for, and orchestrated by one of our finest-- Sgt Major Doug Lyvere. He proved today what the determination of a single man can accomplish.

Yes. Storage. Riding at 25ºF is for younger (and fatter) men.
I also do not react well to black ice.
Plus I like parking in the garage when there's two feet of snow on the ground and more coming.
And, lastly, I am a lazy sumbitch - I never properly winterized either my Yamaha or my V45 Magna, just tucked 'em in a corner and started 'em once a month/every other month. Okay for a $500 bike, not okay for a Harley...
