Anti-gun California keeps pushing bad laws
This summary of bills that failed to be signed into law may be incomplete. Most will be back next year, some already are. Although one might take heart in all these defeats, these defeats include good proposed laws as well. The point is, it's like this every year in California.
Update note: Bill status is usually listed by the NRA as DEFEATED or PASSED. I've listed the bills actual status. Just because it didn't pass this year doesn't mean it's dead.

You're not exactly shooting straight here. I'm the webmaster for the page you linked to. NRA is right when it says DEFEATED. CA works on a 2 year legislative cycle. 2005-2006 was the most recent. If a bill didn't pass in 2006, it *IS* dead. (Those bills can never come up for a vote again.) Another bill may be reintroduced next year, perhaps an identical bill, but that involves a new legislature (post election).
